Trevor Murray
Origin:
Galway
Position:
Goalkeeper/Defender
|
A recent addition to the club, the Galway man has proved a revelation between the sticks and in defence, the feeling within the club is the best is yet to come. A maverick off the field, he demonstrated his card skills on the boat to the Isle of Man, expect to see him make his film debut in Cool hand Luke 2.

Enda Brady
Origin:
Cavan
Position:
Defender
|
This Cavan man has joined the club off the back of a recent successful club campaign at home where he reached the semi-final of the intermediate All Ireland series with his club Ulster intermediate champions Ballinagh GFC. He is a solid half back who is not afraid to have his say. Enda is not averse to a drink and the only question is whether this teacher is coming to Manchester to play football or just for the craic.

Barry Donnelly
Origin:
Tyrone
Position:
Forward
|
Another of the strong Tyrone contingent at the club, Barry is noted for two things on the pitch. One is his lightning speed and the other is his Lance Armstrong-esque cycling shorts. Whether there's any relation between the two is hard to say, but many a defender has been left in a lycra blur.

Johnny Hughes
Origin:
Tyrone
Position:
Forward
|
|
This two-footed half forward is another welcome addition to the 2008 squad. Although known as the joker, due to his broad smile rather than his sense of humour, Johnny is a pure Gulpin. With two hands like shovels, Johnny can fist the ball further than most of the panel can manage to kick it. Hailing from Clonoe, Tyrone, Johnny started drinking at a very early age and has successfully continued the trend in style, which is the last word we would use to describe his vast collection of shirts. Can be seen charming women, usually to no avail, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in the Didsbury locality.

Paul Monaghan
Origin:
Fermanagh
Role:
Asst Manager
|
New to the management team of Oisins, the Fermanagh man has made an immediate impact to the success of the club. He has also been know to step into the breach between the posts when the squad has been depleted, although he suffered from a back complaint after his last outing, due to the frequency in which he had to pick the ball out of the net.

Peter Scanlon
Origin:
Mayo
Role:
Manager/Full back
|
|
The illustrious manager of Oisins and current club man of the year, has been integral part of Oisins success in recent years. Once as a player and now as manager, his rousing inspirational team talks have guiding Oisins to many victories. The Mayos man's semi-retirement means he has been know to slip on an extra large jersey and lead by example on the pitch, with sterling displays of defensive work that hark back to a by-gone era.

Oliver Barton
Origin:
Lancashire
Position:
Forward
|
The 17 year old newcomer to GAA Oliver is eager to pick up the basics quickly. He brings his skills from soccer to the front as he has a very good foot on him and kicking from distance is one of his major skills. His other pastime away from ball sports is sailing where he recently hit an iceberg near the arctic in his yacht (seriously, we are not kidding!).

Paddy Ryan
Origin:
Longford
Position:
Forward
|
|
Paddy is originally from Longford but has lived in England through his youth, this has not affected his pride in his Irish heritage. An attacking half forward with plenty of pace and an eye for goal he recently won the British University Championship with the University of Central Lancashire (Preston). When not out playing Gaelic football Paddy is either playing Irish music with his band or taking orders from his Mrs.
